Sementara itu, Kapolres Merangin AKBP Kiki Firmansyah Effendi melalui Kasubsi Penmas Aiptu Ruly menyampaikan bahwa, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rasa aman kepada masyarakat sekaligus memastikan tidak ada permainan harga ataupun pengurangan timbangan oleh pedagang.
"Kami ingin memastikan bahwa hak konsumen terlindungi, dan para pedagang juga berjualan sesuai aturan yang berlaku. Ini juga bentuk sinergitas kami bersama Disperindag dalam mengawasi distribusi bahan pokok," tegas Ruly
Kegiatan ini akan terus dilakukan secara rutin oleh Polres Merangin bersama instansi terkait dalam menjamin hak-hak konsumen dan menjaga stabilitas bahan pokok di tengah Masyarakat khususnya di Kabupaten Merangin.
