Sarolangun — Dalam upaya mencegah kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla), Babinsa Koramil 420-03/Pauh, Sertu M. Sipahutar, bersama warga Desa Batu Kucing, Kecamatan Pauh, Kabupaten Sarolangun, melaksanakan patroli wilayah secara intensif pada Senin (21/07/2025).
Patroli bersama ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk memantau kondisi wilayah, namun juga menjadi sarana penting dalam memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait bahaya karhutla dan pentingnya menjaga keamanan lingkungan.
“Patroli wilayah adalah kegiatan mendasar yang wajib dilakukan Babinsa. Ini bukan hanya untuk menjaga stabilitas wilayah, tapi juga untuk mempererat hubungan antara TNI dan masyarakat,” ungkap Sertu M. Sipahutar saat ditemui di sela kegiatan.
Dalam patroli tersebut, Babinsa memberikan imbauan tegas kepada warga agar tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar. Selain membahayakan lingkungan, tindakan tersebut juga melanggar hukum dengan sanksi yang jelas dan berat.
Lebih lanjut, Sertu Sipahutar juga menyampaikan pentingnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga protokol kesehatan di tengah aktivitas sehari-hari. “Kita terus mengingatkan warga untuk tetap disiplin menjalankan protokol kesehatan, karena peran aktif Babinsa di tengah masyarakat juga mencakup upaya menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan warga,” tambahnya.
Kegiatan patroli ini mendapat sambutan positif dari warga setempat yang merasa lebih aman dan diperhatikan. Keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam patroli juga menunjukkan sinergi yang baik antara aparat dan warga desa dalam menjaga lingkungan tetap aman dan bebas dari bencana.
