Pada acara yang berlangsung meriah di Auditorium rumah dinas Gubernur Jambi itu, Bupati Merangin H M Syukur didampingi Ketua TP PKK Merangin Hj Lavita Syukur, berterimakasih kepada Pemprov Jambi, atas penghargaan yang diberikan.
‘’Penghargaan ini milik seluruh masyarakat Merangin, terutama Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Kabupaten Merangin, yang telah bekerja ekstra keras siang dan malam, guna menuntaskan angka Stunting,’’ ujar Bupati dibenarkan istri tercinta Hj Lavita Syukur.
Bupati juga berterimakasih kepada Wabup Merangin H A Khafidh, Sekda Merangin Fajarman, para Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) di jajaran Pemkab Merangin, TP PKK Merangin, Dharma Wanita Persatuan Merangin dan Forkopimda Merangin.
Bupati Merangin memberikan penghargaan yang setinggi-tingginya kepada TPPS Merangin, dimana berdasarkan hasil Survey Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2024, angka prevalensi Stuntimg Kabupaten Merangin turun, dari 14,9 persen pada 2023 menjadi 09,6 persen pada 2024.
‘’Penurunan ini bahkan lebih rendah dibandingkan angka prevalensi Stunting nasional 19,8 persen dan angka prevalensi Stunting Provinsi Jambi yang mengalamai kenaikan dari 13 persen pada 2023 menjadi 17,1 persen pada 2024,’’ terang Bupati.
Pada acara yang dihadiri bupati/walikota atau perwakilannya se-Provinsi Jambi, Ketua TP PKK Merangin Hj Lavita Syukur, Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan Merangin Ny Rizmila Fajarman dan para kepala OPD di jajaran Permkab Merangin tersebut, Bupati Merangin menandatangani Deklarasi Komitmen Bersama Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) dalam upaya Percepatan Penurunan Stunting.
Padahal jauh-jauh sebelum komitmen itu ditandatangani, TPPS Merangin telah dulu sinergi dengan RSUD Kol Abundjani Bangko dan instansi lainnya di jajaran Pemkab Merangin, guna Percepatan Penurunan angka Stunting di Kabupaten Merangin.
Bahkan sinergi yang dilakukan TPPS Merangin yang berjalan dengan sangat baik itu, tidak hanya dilakukan pada instansi kesehatan, tapi juga pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, pemberdayaan perempuan, pertanian dan terpenting infrastruktur serta Program ‘Genting’ (Gerakan orang tua asuh cegah Stunting).
Hal ini selaras dengan yang dianjurkan Gubernur Jambi H Al Haris pada sambutan acara Penilaian kinerja delapan aksi konvergensi PPS kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Jambi 2024, yang menegaskan penurunan Sunting tidak bisa hanya mengandalkan sektor kesehatan.
‘’Peran sektor pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, pemberdayaan perempuan, pertanian, dan infrastruktur sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan intervensi spesifik dan sensitif harus benar-benar dijalankan secara terintegrasi, termasuk peran orang tua asuh sangat dibutuhkan disetiap daerah,” ujar Gubernur Jambi.
