MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari menggelar apel siaga bencana Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan (Karhutla) tahun 2025, Jum'at (13/6/2025).
Wakil Bupati Batang Hari, H. Bakhtiar, SP secara langsung memimpin apel siaga karhutla 2025 di lapangan Eks MTQ Kecamatan Muarabulian, Kabupaten Batang Hari.
Wabup Bakhtiar mengatakan, apel ini merupakan salah satu tanda kesiap siagaan di dalam menanggulangi bencana karhutla. Apel siaga karhutla ini adalah bentuk pemerintahan dalam kesiapan menanggulangi bencana kebakaran.
Kegiatan ini tentunya menunjukkan bahwa pihaknya sudah melakukan persiapan dan menyusun rencana di dalam mencegah secara dini serta menanggulangi bencana karhutla," katanya..
Lanjut dikatakannya, di Kabupaten Batang Hari di setiap musim kemarau pasti mengalami kebakaran hutan dan lahan, hanya luasan wilayah yang terbakar berbeda-beda.
Setiap tahun kebakaran hutan dan lahan itu terjadi kawasan - kawasan lokasi perkebunan, yang berada di Kecamatan Pemayung Slseberang, Mersam seberang, Batin XXIV dan Maro Sebo Ulu serta Kecamatan Bajubang.
