MERANGIN – Sambut hari Bhayangkara Ke-79, Polres Merangin melalui Seksi Dokkes menggelar kegiatan bakti kesehatan. Kegiatan tersebut diselenggarakan pada kamis (12/06/2025) sejak pukul 10.00 Wib s/d 12.00 Wib bertempat di Pos laulintas Simpang Hotel Bukit Indah Bangko.
Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah para pengemudi ojek dan warga yang melintas di sekitar kawasan Pos lalulintas Bukit Indah.
Kapolres Merangin melalui Kasubsi Penmas AIPTU Ruly.S.Sy.,M.H menyampaikan, pihaknya menggelar kegiatan bakti kesehatan ini secara gratis dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Khususnya para pengemudi ojek yang sering bekerja dalam waktu lama dan beresiko mengalami gangguan kesehatan.
“Ada sedikitnya 10 orang pengemudi ojek dan warga sekitar yang memanfaatkan layanan kesehatan gratis. Bakti kesehatan ini juga merupakan salah satu rangkaian kegiatan Polres Merangin dalam menyambut Hari Bhayangkara ke-79 tahun 2025," ujar Ruly.
Ruly mengatakan, kali ini pihaknya memberikan layanan kesehatan berupa pengobatan penyakit ringan saja. Seperti pengecekan tekanan darah, kolesterol, gula darah serta pemberian obat-obatan dan multivitamin bagi yang membutuhkan. Dimana kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk mendeteksi dini masalah kesehatan dan mengedukasi tentang pola hidup sehat, agar masyarakat khususnya para pekerja ojek dapat tetap sehat dan produktif.
"Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, kami berharap dapat meningkatkan kesadaran pola hidup sehat bagi masyarakat. Serta bisa mempererat hubungan antara Polri dan masyarakat," tutup Ruly.
