MERANGIN - Bupati Merangin, H. M Syukur bersama Gubernur Jambi H Al Haris dan para bupati/walikota se-Provinsi Jambi, melakukan audensi dengan Menteri Kesehatan RI, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, di Kantor Kementerian Kesehatan Jakarta, Kamis (05/06).
Pada audensi yang berlangsung penuh keakraban tersebut, bupati Merangin mendorong salah satu Puskesmas dari 27 Puskesmas di Kabupaten Merangin, menjadi Rumah Sakit (RS) type D.
‘’Kita juga berharap agar Kementerian Kesehatan RI bisa membantu melengkapi peralatan kebutuhan Rumah Sakit Kol Abundjani Bangko, agar pelayanan bisa lebih maksimal lagi,’’ ujar H M Syukur.
Audensi bersama itu, bertujuan untuk memperkuat sinergitas antara Pemerintah Daerah dan Pemerintah Pusat, khususnya dalam pembangunan sektor kesehatan di setiap kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jambi.
Terpisah, Gubernur Jambi H Al Haris menyampaikan berbagai isu strategis dan prioritas pembangunan kesehatan di Provinsi Jambi. Gubernur menyoroti pentingnya dukungan dari Kementerian Kesehatan RI.
Dukungan itu dalam upaya peningkatan mutu layanan kesehatan, pemerataan fasilitas kesehatan dan penguatan sumber daya manusia kesehatan, terutama di daerah-daerah terpencil.
‘’Kita berharap ada solusi konkret dari Pemerintah Pusat, khususnya terkait percepatan pembangunan rumah sakit daerah, pengadaan tenaga medis seperti dokter, dan pemenuhan sarana prasarana kesehatan lainnya,’’ ujar Gubernur Jambi.
