MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari akan menyalurkan bantuan pembelian obat pembasmi hama tikus dan keong bagi setiap petani yang membutuhkan. Hal itu karena sudah dialokasikan sebesar Rp 330 juta rupiah dari dana Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) pada 2025.
Sekretaris Dinas Pangan Pertanian dan Perikanan Kabupaten Batang Hari, Sazili Musaqa di Muarabulian mengatakan, pengadaan racun hama tikus dan keong itu dikarenakan adanya keluhan para petani terkait ketika musim tanam tiba.
"Di tahun ini kami menganggarkan untuk pembelian obat pembasmi hama," ujarnya.
Pemerintah di daerah setempat terus melakukan peningkatan untuk padi sawah guna mendukung setiap para petani dalam meningkatkan hasil panen secara optimal.
Adapun besarannya kebutuhan racun hama yang disediakan tersebut yaitu 1,5 ton untuk racun tikus dan 1,5 ton racun hama keong. Saat ini bantuan itu dalam proses kontrak dan kemungkinan akan di distribusikan pada Juni 2025.
"Diharapkan dengan adanya racun itu para petani bisa meningkatkan produksi padinya," tutupnya.
