JAMBI— Di bawah terik matahari siang itu, rombongan anggota DPRD Provinsi Jambi menapaki lajur yang suatu hari nanti akan menjadi nadi baru bagi pergerakan batu bara di provinsi ini.
Jalan khusus batu bara yang digarap oleh PT. Inti Bangun Sarana (IBS) membentang sepanjang 101 kilometer, dan kini progres fisiknya diklaim telah mencapai angka 86 persen.
“Kami ingin melihat langsung bagaimana kondisi lapangan. Dan sejauh yang kami tinjau, progresnya cukup menggembirakan. Underpass yang dibangun di bawah jalan nasional sudah selesai, jembatan di Jelutih pun telah rampung,” ujar Hafiz.
Seperti diungkapkan oleh Bambang Subagyo, perwakilan PT. IBS, sekitar 29 kilometer jalan masih belum bisa dibangun karena terkendala izin penggunaan kawasan hutan (PPKH).
Sementara 72 kilometer sisanya sudah selesai dibangun.
Ia mengingatkan bahwa target operasional awal proyek ini telah beberapa kali meleset, dari tahun 2023, ke 2024, dan kini 2025.
Ini penting mengingat tahun lalu, dari target kuota 36 juta ton batu bara, hanya 16 juta yang terserap.(*)
