MUARABULIAN - Bupati Batanghari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, SE membuka acara Jambore Literasi Numerasi #1 tingkat Kabupaten Batanghari tahun 2025, Kamis (8/5/2025).
Acara bertempat di Objek Wisata Aek Meliuk, Kecamatan Muarabulian, Kabupaten Batanghari.
Bupati Batanghari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief mengatakan, literasi merujuk pada kemampuan individu untuk membaca, menulis, memahami, menginterpretasikan, dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif.
Ini mencakup pemahaman teks, keterampilan komunikasi, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Literasi melibatkan penggunaan bahasa dan simbol untuk memperoleh, mengolah, dan menyampaikan informasi
Bupati menegaskan, bahwa literasi itu penting. Tanpa literasi, sulit untuk menjalani kehidupan yang Anda inginkan.
Di sekolah, memiliki keterampilan literasi untuk membaca, menulis, berbicara, dan mendengarkan sangat penting untuk meraih kesuksesan.
"Jika kita merasa hal-hal ini sulit, berarti kita kesulitan belajar. Hal ini memengaruhi kepercayaan diri dan harga diri kita," ucapnya.
Sementara Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari pada tahun 2025 ini menargetkan peningkatan literasi dan numerik di Kabupaten Batanghari.
Literasi yang baik dapat membantu seseorang memahami dan mengolah informasi dengan efektif. Hal ini dapat membantu seseorang dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja dan kehidupan sehari-hari," jelasnya.
Dalam era globalisasi yang semakin kompetitif, literasi menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM).
"Orang yang cerdas dia akan bisa mengenali inti dari masalah tersebut, nah kata ibaratkan seorang dokternya, dan kita analogikan seorang dokter harus bisa mengenali penyakit pasiennya. Inti dari penyakit pasiennya dia tiakan membikin obat yang tepat," katanya.
"Orang yang memiliki SDM yang baik, mereka juga memiliki literasi yang baik," tambahnya.
