MERANGIN - Polres Merangin melalui Satuan Pembinaan Masyarakat (Satbinmas) membuat inovasi baru di masyarakat dengan melakukan giat sambang malam ke masyarakat pada hari Rabu sekira pukul 22.00 wib s/d selesai di RT.14 RW.05 Desa Sungai Ulak Kec.Nalo tantan serta memberikan sarana kontak.
Kegiatan bertajuk “Jaga Kampung Bareng Polisi” ini difokuskan pada pembinaan dan penguatan keberadaan Pos Keamanan Lingkungan (Pos Kamling) sebagai garda terdepan dalam sistem keamanan berbasis masyarakat. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, polisi tak hanya menyampaikan pesan-pesan kamtibmas, tapi juga memberikan sarana kontak berupa perlengkapan ronda kepada warga setempat.
Program ini mendapat sambutan positif dari warga, yang menyatakan siap untuk kembalij mengaktifkan ronda malam dan menjaga lingkungan secara bersama-sama. Inovasi kegiatan jaga kampung bareng polisi ini merupakan bentuk pentingnya peran aktif masyarakat, aparat keamanan, dan pemerintah dalam membangun dan memelihara pos kamling sebagai bagian dari sistem keamanan lingkungan yang efektif. Melalui kerjasama yang solid, diharapkan keamanan dan ketertiban di lingkungan RT.14 RW.05 Desa Sungai Ulak Kec.Nalo tantan dapat terjaga dengan baik.
Kegiatan ini dibenarkan oleh Kasat Binmas Polres Merangin AKP KARTO, Pos Kamling memiliki peran strategis dalam mencegah gangguan keamanan dan meningkatkan kepedulian sosial antarwarga. Kolaborasi antara polisi dan masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat membentuk lingkungan yang lebih aman dan kondusif. Melalui pos kamling, masyarakat bukan hanya jadi objek pengamanan, tapi juga subjek yang aktif menjaga lingkungan.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat lebih aktif dalam menjaga keamanan lingkungannya, serta terjalin hubungan yang harmonis antara Polri dan masyarakat, dan juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan silaturrahmi antara masyarakat dan pihak keamanan di wilayah di RT.14 RW.05 Desa Sungai Ulak Kec. Nalo tantan, diharapakan masyarakat juga selalu melakukan koordinasi kepada pihak yang berwajib jika adanya aktivitas yang mencurigakan di sekitaran lingkungan, ujar APTU EDWI Selaku Kanit Binkamsa Satbinmas Polres Merangin dalam sambutannya.
