JAMBI - Aksi Demontrasi dilakukan oleh sejumlah mahasiswa di Gedung DPRD Provinsi Jambi. Aksi demo yang dijalankan oleh massa yang tergabung dalam aliansi mahasiswa melawan itu sempat diwarnai kericuhan hingga menjadi tidak kondusif.
Demonstrasi yang dijalankan massa mahasiswa ini dilakukan pada Rabu siang (23/4). Para mahasiswa menjalankan aksi mulai dengan berjalan dari Simpang BI Telanaipura hingga menuju ke Gedung Legislatif. Disana, masa menyampaikan sejumlah tuntutan mereka yang mesti diketahui oleh pihak DPRD Jambi.
Namun, saat aksi berjalan, sempat terjadi kericuhan lantaran adanya dugaan penyusup dibarisan mahasiswa yang menjalankan aksi damai itu. Mahasiswa sempat mengetahui adanya penyusup dibarisan mereka sehingga aksi yang awalnya berjalan lancar sempat terjadi keributan.
"Awas, ada yang ingin memprovokasi kawan-kawan,” teriak salah satu dari mahasiswa yang menjalankan aksi saat itu.
Aksi ini juga sempat diwarnai ketengangan antara mahasiswa dengan pihak kepolisian yang berjaga. Bahkan aksi membuat suasana di gedung DPRD yang berjalan lancar jadi saling dorong.
Kapolresta Jambi, Kombes Boy Sutan Binaga Siregar dalam keterangannya ke awak media membenarkan adanya kejadian tersebut. Ia mengakui telah menggerakan personilnya untuk mencaritahu siapa oknum yang diduga menjadi penyusup dalam aksi mahasiswa tersebut.
“Saya juga sudah perintahkan, kita cari tahu itu siapa, kita selidiki seperti apa ceritanya, dan siapa itu pelakunya,” ujar Boy Sutan.
Boy juga mengaku dalam aksi unjuk rasa mahasiswa tersebut pihaknya hanya bertugas sebagai pengamanan untuk menjaga agar tidak terjadi keributan dan pengrusakan fasilitas negara.
“Kita tetap humanis apa yang disampaikan oleh mahasiswa itu adalah hak mereka dan alhamdulillah lancar,” ujarnya.
Untuk dapat diketahui, aksi unjuk rasa yang dijalankan para mahasiswa ini adalah bentuk kepedulian mereka dalam berbagai hal yang terjadi. Mereka melakukan aksi dengan menyampikan berbagai tuntutan mulai dari pencabutan UU TNI, Tolak RUU Polri, RUU KUHP, RUU ASN, Lalu RUU perampasaan Aset kemudian soal kerusakaan lingkungan di Jambi.
Tidak hanya itu, para mahasiswa juga melakukan aksi dengan meminta pihak DPRD Jambi dapat mengusut soal permasalahan di RSUD dan terakhir soal penyelesaian konflik Agraria. Bagi mereka persoalan di Jambi mesti ditindaklanjuti agar berjalan aman.
Di aksi unjuk rasa mahasiswa itu juga tampak hadir Ketua DPRD Jambi Hafiz dan Wakil Ketua DPRD Jambi Samsul Ridwan Para pimpinan DPRD Jambi ini ikut menanggapi soal unjuk rasa mahasiswa tersebut.
Para pimpinan DPRD Jambi itu menyempatkan untuk bertemu massa meski dalam kondisi kelelahan setelah adanya sejumlah agenda, terutama soal peninjaun jalan khusus Batu Bara.
Ketua DPRD juga mengapresiasi para mahasiswa yang menjalankan aksi dengan lancar. Dia juga menyampaikan permintaan maaf kepada mahasiswa jika adanya sedikit miss komuikasi dalam unjuk rasa tadi.
Sejauh ini. DPRD Jambi selaku perwakilan masyarakat mengatakan akan terus menjadi penyambung lidah bagi para mahasiswa yang menjalani sejumlah tuntutan mereka dalam membangun negeri.
