KUALA TUNGKAL – Ancaman kabut asap dan kebakaran hutan kembali mengintai. Menyikapi hal tersebut, Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Drs. H. Anwar Sadat, M.Ag., mengambil sikap tegas dengan menyatakan kesiapan penuh daerahnya menghadapi musim kemarau 2026. Pernyataan ini disampaikan usai Bupati mengikuti Rapat Koordinasi Nasional Penanganan Karhutla yang dipimpin langsung oleh Menko Polkam Jenderal TNI (Purn.) Djamari Chaniago secara virtual, Senin (07/09/2026).
Dalam forum bergengsi yang dihadiri jajaran menteri, Kapolri, Jaksa Agung, hingga Kepala BNPB tersebut, Jambi disebut sebagai salah satu dari enam provinsi prioritas penanganan Karhutla nasional. Bagi Tanjab Barat yang memiliki luas lahan gambut dan perkebunan skala besar, ini adalah "kode merah" untuk tidak lengah.
Peringatan Keras untuk Korporasi: Lelah HGU, Tanggung Jawab Pula
Poin paling krusial dari rapat nasional ini adalah penekanan pada tanggung jawab pemegang Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) dan Perizinan Berusaha Pemanfaatan Hutan (PBPH). Menteri ATR/BPN dan Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo menegaskan bahwa pembukaan lahan dengan cara membakar adalah tindak pidana serius.
Menyambung arahan pusat, Bupati Anwar Sadat mengirimkan pesan jelas kepada seluruh perusahaan di Tanjab Barat: jangan lalai. “Kami mengajak perusahaan, aparat, dan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan, menjaga lingkungan, serta tidak membuka lahan dengan cara membakar,” ujar Anwar Sadat.
Ia menekankan bahwa sinergi antara pemerintah, penegak hukum, dan dunia usaha adalah kunci. Jika perusahaan gagal menjaga lahannya dari api, mereka harus siap menghadapi sanksi hukum yang berat, termasuk pemulihan kerugian negara sebagaimana ditegaskan oleh Jaksa Agung dalam rapat tersebut.
Strategi Multi-Layer: Dari Water Bombing hingga Penegakan Hukum
Kepala BNPB Letjen TNI Suharyanto memaparkan bahwa pemerintah telah menyiapkan strategi komprehensif, mulai dari Operasi Modifikasi Cuaca (OMC), water bombing, hingga pengerahan pasukan darat terpadu. Namun, pencegahan di tingkat tapak tetap menjadi prioritas utama.
Di Tanjab Barat, langkah konkret sudah diambil. Turut hadir dalam pendampingan rapat virtual tersebut adalah unsur Forkopimda lokal, termasuk Pasi Ops Kodim 0419/Tanjab Kapten Inf. Sigit Purnomo Rico, Wakapolres Kompol Andi Musahar, perwakilan Kejaksaan Negeri, Plt. Kalaksa BPBD Samsuhadi, serta Kepala Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan Drs. Ridwan. Kehadiran mereka menunjukkan bahwa komando penanganan Karhutla di daerah sudah terbentuk solid dan siap bergerak cepat.

Meski puncak musim kemarau belum sepenuhnya tiba, kewaspadaan harus ditingkatkan sejak sekarang. Dengan status Jambi sebagai wilayah prioritas nasional, Tanjab Barat berkomitmen untuk nol toleransi terhadap pembakaran lahan.
“Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat siap mendukung dan bersinergi dengan seluruh pihak,” tegas Anwar Sadat. Pesan ini adalah jaminan bagi masyarakat bahwa udara bersih adalah hak mereka, dan pemerintah bersama aparat keamanan akan bertindak tegas terhadap siapa pun—individu maupun korporasi—yang mencoba merusak ekosistem demi kepentingan sesaat.
