Tanjab Barat – Dalam upaya mencegah maraknya aksi geng motor dan kenakalan remaja, Polres Tanjab Barat terus mengintensifkan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada pelajar serta masyarakat. Langkah preventif ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk komitmen kepolisian dalam menjaga situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas), sekaligus menyelamatkan masa depan generasi muda.
Kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut dilaksanakan oleh personel Satuan Pembinaan Masyarakat (Sat Binmas) Polres Tanjab Barat. Dalam penyampaiannya, personel Sat Binmas, AIPTU Hendro, mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat, khususnya para orang tua dan pelajar, untuk bersama-sama mencegah tumbuhnya kelompok berandalan bermotor yang dapat merugikan diri sendiri maupun orang lain.
"Jangan sampai generasi muda terjerumus ke dalam pergaulan yang salah. Mari bersama-sama menjaga anak-anak kita agar tidak terlibat geng motor, tawuran, balap liar, maupun tindakan yang melanggar hukum," ujarnya.
Kapolres Tanjab Barat melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Ucen S. Kasih mengatakan bahwa sosialisasi ini merupakan bagian dari strategi preventif Polres Tanjab Barat dalam menekan potensi gangguan kamtibmas yang melibatkan kalangan remaja.
Menurutnya, materi sosialisasi difokuskan pada edukasi mengenai bahaya kenakalan remaja, dampak negatif bergabung dengan geng motor, risiko terlibat aksi tawuran, penyerangan, hingga konsekuensi hukum yang dapat menghancurkan masa depan para pelaku.
Selain itu, masyarakat juga diberikan pemahaman mengenai larangan menggunakan knalpot yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi teknis atau knalpot brong serta bahaya balap liar di jalan umum yang dapat mengancam keselamatan pengguna jalan lainnya.
IPDA Ucen menegaskan bahwa Polres Tanjab Barat berkomitmen melakukan langkah-langkah edukatif, preventif, dan penegakan hukum secara tegas terhadap setiap bentuk aksi geng motor maupun pelanggaran yang meresahkan masyarakat.
"Polres Tanjab Barat mengajak seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk bersama-sama mengawasi dan membimbing generasi muda agar terhindar dari pengaruh negatif. Apabila menemukan aktivitas yang mengarah pada aksi geng motor atau balap liar, masyarakat diimbau segera melaporkannya kepada pihak kepolisian agar dapat segera ditindaklanjuti," tutupnya.
