TANJAB BARAT – Memasuki hari kelima sejak insiden runtuhnya dermaga penyeberangan di Dusun Sungai Limau, Desa Sungai Landak, Kecamatan Senyerang, upaya pencarian terhadap dua pekerja yang hilang masih terus berlangsung tanpa kenal lelah. Pada Minggu (24/05/2026) pagi, cuaca cerah menjadi berkah bagi tim gabungan yang terdiri dari Polsek Pengabuan, Basarnas, BPBD, Sat Polairud Polres Tanjab Barat, serta puluhan relawan masyarakat untuk memperluas radius penyisiran di aliran Sungai Pengabuan.
Kedua korban yang masih dalam pencarian adalah Iyan (35), warga Desa Parit Pudin, Kecamatan Pengabuan, dan Toni (42), warga Desa Harapan Jaya, Kecamatan Seberang Kota. Keduanya dilaporkan hanyut terbawa arus deras saat kejadian kecelakaan kerja terjadi pada Rabu (20/05/2026) siang.
Strategi Tiga Sektor: Dari Hulu hingga Hilir
Menanggapi belum ditemukannya kedua korban, Plh Kapolsek Pengabuan melalui Kasi Humas Polres Tanjab Barat, Ipda Ucen, menjelaskan bahwa strategi pencarian telah diperluas secara signifikan. Tim dibagi menjadi tiga sektor utama untuk memaksimalkan cakupan area:
1. Sektor Hilir (Arah Kuala Tungkal): Tim menyisir tepian sungai hingga mencapai Desa Tanjung Senjulang di Kecamatan Bram Itam. Area ini menjadi fokus karena arus sungai cenderung membawa benda atau tubuh ke arah muara.
2. Sektor Hulu (Arah Tebing Tinggi): Tim lain menelusuri kawasan hulu hingga Desa Sungai Kepayang, mengantisipasi kemungkinan korban tersangkut di ranting pohon atau struktur bawah air di bagian atas aliran.
3. Sektor Titik Kejadian: Di sekitar reruntuhan jembatan/dermaga, tim masyarakat khusus melakukan pencarian bawah air dengan metode diving sederhana menggunakan pengaman tali (safety harness) di bawah pengawasan ketat petugas Basarnas dan Polairud. Metode ini dipilih karena visibilitas air di titik runtuhnya struktur sangat buruk akibat lumpur.
Armada Besar Turun Lapangan
Operasi hari ini melibatkan armada yang cukup besar, mencerminkan keseriusan pemerintah dan kepedulian masyarakat. Total terdapat:
* 1 unit perahu karet Basarnas
* 1 unit perahu karet BPBD
* 1 unit kapal patroli Sat Polairud Polres Tanjab Barat
* 15 unit perahu pompong milik warga setempat yang secara sukarela bergabung dalam pencarian.
"Keberadaan 15 perahu pompong warga menunjukkan solidaritas tinggi masyarakat Tanjab Barat. Mereka tidak hanya menunggu, tetapi aktif turun ke sungai membantu mencari saudara mereka yang hilang," ujar Ipda Ucen.
Cuaca Cerah, Harapan Masih Terbuka
Berbeda dengan hari-hari sebelumnya yang kadang diguyur hujan, cuaca pada Minggu (24/5) dilaporkan cerah dengan angin sepoi-sepoi. Kondisi ini sangat mendukung proses pencarian, baik dari segi visibilitas permukaan air maupun keamanan operasional perahu.
Namun, tantangan terbesar tetap ada pada kondisi dasar sungai yang berlumpur dan banyaknya ranting-ranting pohon bakau serta akar-akar pohon di sepanjang bantaran sungai yang berpotensi menjadi "perangkap" bagi tubuh korban.
Keluarga Menanti dengan Doa
Di posko darurat yang didirikan tak jauh dari lokasi kejadian, keluarga kedua korban terlihat tegar meski wajah lelah mulai terlihat. Mereka terus memantau perkembangan dari tepi sungai, sambil mendoakan agar saudara mereka ditemukan dalam keadaan selamat, atau setidaknya dapat dimakamkan dengan layak jika sudah tiada.
Pihak kepolisian menegaskan bahwa operasi pencarian tidak akan dihentikan hingga kedua korban ditemukan. Koordinasi dengan pihak terkait juga terus dilakukan untuk memastikan logistik dan kebutuhan tim lapangan terpenuhi.
Masyarakat dihimbau untuk tetap waspada dan tidak mendekati area reruntuhan jembatan yang masih rapuh, serta melaporkan jika menemukan hal-hal mencurigakan di sepanjang aliran Sungai Pengabuan.
