Bangko-Pemkab Merangin menggelar upacara peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional (HKN) ke-118 tahun 2026, diikui barisan pelajar, Korpri, TNI, Polri, Satpo PP, Perhubungan dan barisan lainnya, di halaman kantor bupati Merangin, Rabu (20/5).
Tampil sebagai inspektur upacara Bupati Merangin H M Syukur melalui Wabup H A Khafidh. Pada pengarahannya wabup membacakan pidato Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Republik Indonesia, Meutya Viada Hafid.
Dikatakan Wabup pada pengarahannya, secara filosofis, kebangkitan nasional merupakan sebuah proses dinamis yang bersifat mutatis mutandis, yang artinya menyesuaikan dengan tantangan zaman tanpa kehilangan jati diri.
‘’Kebangkitan berarti keberanian untuk melepaskan diri dari belenggu ketidaktahuan dan ketertinggalan. Memasuki tahun 2026 ini, tantangan bangsa telah bergeser dari kedaulatan teritorial menuju kedaulatan informasi dan transformasi digita,’’ujar Wabup.
Tema peringatan HKN tahun ini lanjut wabup, ‘Jaga Tunas Bangsa Demi Kedaulatan Negara’. Tema tersebut, sejalan dengan filosofi identitas peringatan HKN tahun ini yang merepresentasikan semangat menjaga Ibu Pertiwi oleh seluruh elemen bangsa.
Dimana seluruh elemen bangsa bergerak maju bersama melalui pelindungan para tunas bangsa. Tema tersebut juga menegaskan pentingnya kemandirian sebagai negara yang berdaulat.
‘’Sebagaimana amanat para pendiri bangsa, kemajuan sebuah negara tidak ditentukan oleh bantuan pihak lain, melainkan oleh keteguhan hati rakyatnya untuk bersatu dalam satu visi besar,’’terang Wabup.
Di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto jelas Wabup, visi kemandirian tersebut diwujudkan melalui berbagai program strategis nasional, yang menyentuh langsung kebutuhan dasar rakyat.
Salah satu program itu, Makan Bergizi Gratis yang kini telah berjalan secara masif di sekolah-sekolah di seluruh Indonesia, bertujuan untuk membangun fondasi fisik generasi masa depan.
‘’Langkah ini diperkuat dengan pemerataan akses pendidikan melalui pembangunan Sekolah Rakyat dan Sekolah Garuda di wilayah-wilayah afirmasi, termasuk perbaikan mutu guru dan penyediaan beasiswa, guna memutus ketimpangan kualitas SDM,’’jelas Wabup.
Di sektor kesehatan, Pemerintah juga menghadirkan layanan Cek Kesehatan Gratis yang masif untuk memastikan perlindungan medis yang adil dan merata bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Kedaulatan pangan, kesehatan dan pendidikan kini sedang kita bangun sebagai satu ekosistem kesejahteraan yang utuh.
Upaya kesejahteraan rakyat juga diperkuat melalui Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih yang diarahkan menjadi kekuatan ekonomi baru di tingkat desa yang sekarang bangunan fisiknya telah dibangun di setiap desa.
Usai upacara, wabup bersama Forkopimda, para kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), para pimpinan organisasi dan undangan lainnya, menuju Taman Makam Pahlawan Patriot Bhakti di Sungai Ulak, untuk ziarah dan upacara tabur bunga, mengenang jasa dan men-doa-kan para Pahlawan.
