BANGKO – Suasana haru dan khidmat menyelimuti Masjid Baitul Makmur, Senin (11/05) subuh.
Ditengah guyuran hujan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin secara resmi melepas keberangkatan 388 jamaah calon haji yang akan menunaikan rukun Islam kelima ke Tanah Suci Mekkah.
Acara pelepasan ini dihadiri langsung oleh Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur, didampingi Wakil Bupati A. Khafidh, jajaran Pimpinan DPRD Merangin, kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), serta ribuan keluarga jamaah yang memadati area masjid.
Dalam sambutannya,, Bupati M. Syukur memaparkan bahwa total 388 jamaah tersebut terbagi ke dalam dua kelompok terbang (kloter), dengan rincian Kloter 19 sebanyak 279 jamaah dan Kloter 23 sebanyak 109 jamaah. Jamaah tersebut terdiri dari 169 jamaah laki-laki dan 219 jamaah perempuan.
Tahun ini, predikat jamaah tertua disandang oleh Ibu Tumirah yang telah menginjak usia 85 tahun. Kehadirannya menjadi inspirasi bagi jamaah lain atas keteguhan fisiknya dalam menjalankan ibadah di usia senja.
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati M. Syukur menekankan bahwa keberangkatan haji bukanlah sekadar kemampuan finansial, melainkan panggilan suci dari Allah SWT. Ia menyoroti perjuangan para jamaah yang telah menanti belasan tahun untuk sampai ke titik ini.
"Bapak/Ibu, ada yang sudah berpuluh-puluh tahun, bahkan di atas 10 hingga 15 tahun menanti. Ada yang menabung dari hasil celengan, dari bulanan, bahkan harian. Tidak semua orang mendapat kesempatan seperti ini. Ada orang yang memiliki uang sangat banyak namun belum mampu berangkat haji. Sebaliknya, ada orang lyang hidupnya pas-pasan, ia kumpulkan uangnya dari tabungan gaji atau hasil pertanian, dan akhirnya bisa berangkat," imbuhnya di hadapan para jamaah yang tampak berkaca-kaca.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin mendoakan agar seluruh jamaah diberikan kesehatan dan kekuatan selama menjalankan ibadah, serta kembali ke tanah air dengan predikat haji yang mabrur.
