Batangharinews.com - SKK Migas menyambut baik peresmian Field Trial (FT) Injeksi Chemical di Lapangan Meruap, Kabupaten Sarolangun, Provinsi Jambi, Minggu (1/3/2026), sebagai bagian dari upaya memperkuat optimisme peningkatan produksi migas nasional, khususnya di tengah tantangan pengelolaan lapangan-lapangan mature.
FT Injeksi Chemical tersebut dilaksanakan oleh Kerja Sama Operasi Pertamina EP – SE BWP Meruap) sebagai bagian dari upaya optimalisasi produksi melalui penerapan Improved Oil Recovery (IOR). Program ini diharapkan dapat menjaga ketahanan energi nasional sekaligus mendukung pencapaian target lifting minyak yang terus ditingkatkan pemerintah.
Direktur Utama PT. Samudra Energy BWP Meruap, Pantja Sunu Wibowo, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terima kasih atas dukungan SKK Migas yang telah membantu terlaksananya program FT Injeksi Chemical, mulai dari proses awal hingga pelaksanaan, sehingga dapat dilakukan sesuai dengan tata waktu yang telah ditargetkan. "Dukungan SKK Migas menjadi motivasi dan suntikan semangat bagi seluruh tim untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan dan produksi dengan semaksimal mungkin,”.
Ia menambahkan, proyek ini merupakan field trial pertama di area Kerja Sama Operasi (KSO) bersama PT Pertamina EP, sehingga diharapkan menjadi model pengembangan EOR/IOR pada lapangan-lapangan sejenis. Chemical yang diinjeksikan untuk 2 pattern (M-15 dan M-47) ini menggunakan Starborn SeMAR, sedangkan 1 pattern (M-07) akan memakai RCT A-127, dimana keduanya diproduksikan di dalam negeri.
Sementara itu, Kepala SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto secara terpisah menyampaikan bahwa Lapangan Meruap saat ini telah memasuki tahap Tertiary Recovery dan tergolong lapangan mature, dengan tantangan berupa penurunan tekanan reservoir serta peningkatan water cut. *“Pelaksanaan field trial ini menjadi secercah harapan untuk implementasi injeksi chemical dan extended stimulation (ES) yang lebih masif di lapangan-lapangan mature di Indonesia.”*, jelasnya.
Hal ini menegaskan bahwa proyek FT Injeksi Chemical ini sejalan dengan arah kebijakan pemerintah untuk mengoptimalkan produksi dari lapangan eksisting, mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap eksplorasi berisiko tinggi, serta menjaga keberlanjutan produksi minyak nasional di tengah dinamika energi global.
Djoko juga mengingatkan agar semua tim yang bekerja pada seluruh kegiatan Injeksi Chemical dapat melaksanakan tugas dengan menjunjung tinggi prinsip Health, Safety, and Environment. *”Keselamatan pekerja, perlindungan lingkungan, serta kepatuhan terhadap regulasi adalah prioritas yang tidak dapat ditawar ,”* pungkasnya.
Lapangan Meruap merupakan lapangan PT Pertamina EP yang di kerjasamakan dengan BWP Meruap dengan skema Kerja Sama Operasi (KSO) telah dimulai sejak Juli 2014, dengan produksi puncak mencapai sekitar 5.000 barel minyak per hari (BOPD) pada tahap produksi primer dan sekitar 2.500 BOPD pada tahap sekunder. Penerapan field trial injeksi chemical pertama di wilayah KSO ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perolehan hidrokarbon yang dapat diproduksikan secara ekonomis hingga sekitar ±16% melalui 16 sumur, yang terdiri dari 3 sumur injeksi dan 13 sumur produksi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga ditargetkan dapat memberikan tambahan cadangan sekitar 50 ribu barel volume minyak serta menghasilkan produksi incremental menjadi 280 BOPD, atau meningkat sebesar 50% dari baseline produksi untuk ketiga pattern tersebut.
