Bangko – Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin dibawah pimpinan Bupati H M Syukur dan Wabup H A Khafid, kembali memberikan bantuan untuk bencana alam yang terjadi di tiga provinsi di Sumatera, Aceh, Sumatera Utara dan Sumatera Barat. Bantuan berupa pangan, sandang dan perlengkapan sekolah bernilai Rp 135.655.500,- yang dibawa dua armada mobil tersebut, dilepas dari halaman depan rumah dinas bupati Merangin, Sabtu (17/01). ‘’Bantuan ini kita antar langsung ke Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara di Medan dan ini merupakan bantuan kali ketiga yang kita antar langsung setelah Sumatera Barat dan Aceh,’’ujar Bupati Merangin H M Syukur. Bupati berharap bantuan tersebut bisa cepat sampai di Medan, untuk mengurangi beban penderitaan masyarakat yang terdampak bencana alam Hidrometerologi di beberapa wilayah di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Terpisah, Kadis Sosial Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak Merangin Abdul Lazik saat dikonfirmasi Diskominfo mengatakan, iring-iringan dua kendaraan pengangkut bantuan baru sampai di Kabupaten Dharmasraya, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. ‘’Insya Allah bantuan ini akan kita serahkan ke Pemprov Sumatera Utara pada Selasa (20/01). Minta doa semua masyarakat Merangin, agar kami diberi keselamatan dalam perjalanan,’’ujar Abdul Lazik ketua rombongan pengantar bantuan tersebut. Sementara itu, Bendahara Korpri Pemkab Merangin Hasbi menjelaskan, bantuan tersebut digalang dari para pegawai di jajaran Pemkab Merangin, Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Merangin dan dari pihak swasta. Bantuan yang disampaikan Pemkab Merangin itu berupa, perlengkapan sekolah paket seragam SD dan SMP terdiri dari baju, celana, topi, dasi, kaos kaki dan ikat pinggang sebanyak 96 stel. ‘’Kita juga berikan perlengkapan rumah tangga, berupa piring dan cangkir sebanyak 48 lusin, kuali dan pancil sebanyak 48 buah, tikar sebanyak 48 lembar, perlengkapan mandi dan cuci sebanyak 100 set,’’terang Hasbi. Iring-iringan dua mobil itu juga membawa makanan dan minuman, seperti beras sebanyak dua ton, mie instan sebanyak 200 kotak, paket Semako senilai Rp 150 ribu sebanyak 400 paket.
