Bangko – Pemerintah Kabupaten  Merangin dibawah kepemimpinan Bupati, H M Syukur dan Wabup H A Khafid, menunjukkan komitmennya dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat.
Pada tahun anggaran 2026 ini, Pemkab Merangin mengalokasikan program Jaminan Kesehatan Daerah (Jamkesda) untuk 38.748 Jiwa masyarakat kurang mampu. Angka ini meningkat sebesar 10.033 Jiwa dari tahun 2025 sebesar 28.715 Jiwa.
Bupati menegaskan bahwa anggaran Jamkesda tersebut, bertujuan untuk memastikan seluruh masyarakat Merangin, khususnya yang belum tercover oleh BPJS Kesehatan, tetap mendapatkan akses pelayanan kesehatan yang layak dan merata.
“Jamkesda ini kita anggarkan untuk membantu masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan, agar tidak terkendala biaya ketika berobat,’’ujar Bupati usai rakor pencapaian realisasi PAD triwulan IV 2025 di Auditorium Rumah Dinas, Senin (13/01).
Dikatakan bupati, kesehatan merupakan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat yang harus dipenuhi oleh Pemerintah Daerah. Oleh karena itu, Pemkab Merangin berupaya agar tidak ada warga yang terabaikan dalam hal pelayanan kesehatan.
Plt Kadis Kesehatan Merangin drg Soni Propesma menambahkan, program Jamkesda itu akan mencakup berbagai layanan kesehatan. ‘’Jadi mulai dari pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas hingga rujukan ke rumah sakit akan dilayani sesuai ketentuan,’’ujarnya.
Terpisah. Kadis Sosial, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Merangin Abdul Lazik menjelaskan, Pemerintah Daerah juga akan terus melakukan pendataan dan evaluasi agar bantuan Jamkesda benar-benar tepat sasaran dan tepat fungsinya, sesuai visi misi bupati dan wakil bupati Merangin.
Sedangkan Kepala Bidang Rehabilitasi Perlindungan Jaminan Sosial dan Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Dinas Sosial Herdison menerangkan, untuk 38.748 Jiwa masyarakat itu sudah ada SK bupati.
Dengan alokasi Jamkesda untuk 38.748 Jiwa masyarakat tersebut, bupati berharap dapat meringankan beban ekonomi masyarakat dan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat Kabupaten Merangin secara keseluruhan,’’ujar Herdison.
