Acara diawali dengan mengikuti zoom meeting bersama Mabes Polri guna menyinkronkan gerakan ketahanan pangan di tingkat pusat dan daerah. 
Panen raya ini juga dihadiri oleh perwakilan Kodim 0420/Sarko, Asisten I Setda Merangin Sukoso, jajaran kepala OPD, Camat Batang Masumai, serta Kepala Desa Pulau Layang.
Kapolres Merangin, AKBP Kiki Firmansyah, menyampaikan apresiasinya atas keberhasilan kelompok tani dan pemerintah desa dalam mengelola lahan jagung dengan produktivitas mencapai 4 ton perhektar.

Wakil Bupati Merangin, A. Khafidh, menuturkan bahwa keberhasilan panen di BUMDes Rantau Alai merupakan bukti pelaksanaan instruksi Kapolri dan Kapolda mengenai program pemanfaatan lahan "Satu Desa Satu Hektar".
"BUMDes Rantau Alai telah melaksanakan instruksi tersebut dengan hasil maksimal, yakni sekitar 4 hingga 5 ton per hektar. Ini adalah langkah konkret pemerintah daerah dan Polri dalam menjaga ketersediaan pangan," kata Wabup.
Kabar baik juga datang bagi para petani terkait hilirisasi hasil panen. Wabup mengonfirmasi bahwa pihak Bulog siap menyerap hasil panen jagung milik warga dengan harga yang kompetitif.
"Insyaallah, pihak Bulog siap membeli dengan harga Rp6.500 per kilogram. Dengan harga yang stabil ini, kita berharap kesejahteraan petani di Kabupaten Merangin terus meningkat," pungkasnya.
