MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari akan menyalurkan bantuan kepada korban bencana alam yang terjadi di tiga Provinsi di Sumatera.
Bantuan tersebut berupa uang tunai, pakaian, peralatan ibadah, dan sejenisnya. Nantinya akan disalurkan di daerah Aceh, Sumatera Utara dan Sumatera Barat.
Kepala Bagian Tata Pemerintahan Setda Kabupaten Batang Hari, Sarmada di Muarabulian mengatakan, bantuan kemanusiaan untuk korban bencana alam itu sudah mencapai jutaan rupiah.
"Untuk uang tunai sudah terkumpul sebesar Rp15 sampai Rp17 juta rupiah dan akan terus bertambah," katanya.
Bantuan tersebut merupakan hasil penggalangan dana dari Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang tergabung dalam Korps Pegawai Republik Indonesia (Korpri) Kabupaten Batang Hari, melalui Bagian Tata Pemerintahan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Batang Hari.
"Bantuan ini mulai di buka pada tanggal 1 Desember lalu dan akan berakhir pada 5 Desember besok," ujarnya.
Sementara itu, bantuan itu akan disalurkan melalui Baznas (Badan Amil Zakat Nasional) Kabupaten Batang Hari. Hal tersebut merupakan upaya Pemkab Batang Hari dalam menunjukkan kepedulian kepada sesama, terutama kepada masyarakat yang sedang menghadapi musibah.
