BANGKO - Wakil Bupati Merangin, H. A. Khafidh, secara simbolis melepas keberangkatan bantuan kemanusiaan untuk korban bencana alam yang melanda Solok Selatan, Sumatera Barat. Pelepasan rombongan pembawa bantuan yang dikoordinasikan oleh Ikatan Keluarga Solok (IKS) ini dilaksanakan di halaman Kantor Bupati Merangin, Jumat (05/12). Musibah yang terjadi di Sumatera Barat belakangan ini telah menelan banyak korban jiwa dan kerugian materil. Menanggapi hal tersebut, Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin bersama IKS yang diketuai oleh Dedi Darmantias, berinisiatif mengumpulkan dan menyalurkan bantuan. Wakil Bupati Khafidh menjelaskan bahwa bantuan yang disalurkan terdiri dari sembilan bahan pokok (sembako), pakaian layak pakai, serta bantuan uang tunai. "Insyaallah, bantuan ini diharapkan malam ini sudah sampai di Solok. Kami (rombongan IKS) akan langsung membagikan bantuan-bantuan ini ke lokasi-lokasi yang terdampak bencana alam," ujar Wabup dalam sambutannya. Lebih lanjut, Wabup A. Khafidh mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk menjadikan musibah ini sebagai bahan renungan dan mendoakan agar keluarga yang tertimpa bencana diberikan ketabahan. "Yakinlah, Allah akan menggantikannya dengan yang lebih baik," tambahnya penuh harap. Sebelum melepas rombongan, Wakil Bupati mengajak hadirin sejenak berdoa bersama demi kelancaran perjalanan tim penyalur bantuan. Ia juga sempat meninjau langsung kondisi logistik berupa beras dan pakaian layak pakai yang akan dibawa. Sementara itu, Ketua IKS Dedi Darmantias memastikan bahwa bantuan pakaian yang dikumpulkan tidak sepenuhnya berasal dari baju bekas. "Untuk baju, tidak semuanya baju bekas, melainkan ada juga baju baru yang disumbangkan oleh pengusaha pakaian di sekitaran Kota Bangko," terang Dedi Darmantias. Turut mendampingi Wakil Bupati Merangin dalam pelepasan ini adalah Staf Ahli II Irsadi dan Staf Ahli III Hendri Widodo. Keberangkatan bantuan ini menjadi wujud solidaritas dan kepedulian masyarakat Merangin terhadap saudara-saudara yang tertimpa musibah di Sumatera Barat.
