Laporan Keberlanjutan atau Sustainability Report SKK Migas kembali mendapatkan peringkat Gold Rank pada the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2025. Penghargaan ini memperkuat komitmen SKK Migas dan industri hulu migas untuk tetap memperjuangkan isu-isu keberlanjutan di tengah upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi dan lifting minyak dan gas bumi.
“SKK Migas dan Kontraktor KKS sedang berjuang keras untuk meningkatkan produksi dan lifting migas nasional. Namun upaya-upaya keberlanjutan tetap kita jadikan prioritas karena Rencana Strategis kita tidak hanya memuat peningkatan produksi, tetapi juga mendukung komitmen Indonesia mencapat target net zero emission,” ujar Kepala SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto setelah menerima ASRRAT 2025, Jumat (28/11).
Ditambahkannya, penghargaan ini diharapkan akan memicu semangat SKK Migas dan Kontraktor KKS untuk terus melakukan terobosan-terobosan baru untuk memperjuangkan isu-isu keberlanjutan di dalam kerangka operasi hulu migas.
Sustainability Report merupakan sebuah laporan yang merangkum kiprah dan kebijakan sebuah organisasi yang sejalan dan mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Laporan ini dibuat dengan mengacu kepada standar yang dikembangkan lembaga internasional General Reporting Initiative (GRI). ASRRAT sendiri merupakan penilaian tahunan terhadap laporan keberlanjutan yang dipublikasikan oleh berbagai instansi. Ajang ini digelar oleh lembaga independen National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) dengan tujuan untuk ntuk memotivasi dan mempercepat pelaporan keberlanjutan perusahaan atau lembaga dengan memberikan apresiasi kepada upaya terbaik dalam mengkomunikasikan kinerja pada aspek ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan, dan tata kelola.
Di tahun 2025 ini jumlah peserta mencapai 82 perusahaan dan organisasi, yang berasal dari Indonesia (78), Bangladesh (1), dan Filipina (3). Para juri berasal dari kalangan akademisi yang sudah memiliki sertifikasi dalam hal sustainability reporting. SKK Migas secara rutin mengikuti ajang ini dan sudah mendapatkan Gold Rank sebanyak tujuh kali.
Kepala SKK Migas Djoko Siswanto mengatakan penanganan isu keberlanjutan, seperti pengurangan emisi, merupakan pekerjaan jangka panjang namun harus dimulai dengan kerja-kerja nyata dan realistis dalam jangka pendek. Saat ini industri hulu migas sudah melakukan sejumlah inisiatif untuk mengurangi emisi karbon, misalnya meningkatkan efisiensi energi, mengurangi emisi metana, meminimalkan flare gas hingga zero flaring dan pekerjaan untuk implementasi carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). Beberapa inisiatif untuk CCUS sudah berprogres, misalnya Ubadari di Tangguh dan next Abadi Masela. Di industri hulu migas sebenarnya CCUS sudah lama diterapkan di lapangan minyak Indonesia untuk EOR CO2 flooding seperti di lapangan Sukowati dan untuk pressure maintenance di lapangan Banyu Urip Exxon Mobil Cepu.
Ditambahkannya, Indonesia memiliki potensi penyimpanan karbon yang sangat besar. Secara regulasi pun sudah sangat mendukung, termasuk di industri hulu migas. “SKK Migas sudah menerbitkan Pedoman Tata Kerja (PTK) memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi proyek CCS dan CCUS di sektor hulu minyak dan gas Indonesia. Dokumen ini menjadi acuan bagi Kontraktor KKS dalam perencanaan, evaluasi, pelaksanaan, pemantauan, dan pelaporan, sekaligus memberikan kewenangan kepada SKK Migas untuk mengevaluasi dan mengawasi proyek agar berjalan secara efisien, aman, dan akuntabel.”ujar Djoko.
