MERANGIN — Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin kembali menggalakkan Gerakan Memasyarakatkan Makan Ikan (Gemarikan) melalui Program Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Perikanan tahun 2025.
Program yang menyasar pelajar usia dini ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur yang diwakili oleh Ketua Forum Peningkatan Konsumsi Ikan Nasional (Forikan) Kabupaten Merangin, Hj. Lavita Syukur, di Pendopo Rumah Dinas Bupati, Kamis (27/11).
Acara pembukaan Gemarikan dihadiri oleh 75 pelajar Sekolah Dasar dan menghadirkan narasumber dari Dinas Kesehatan serta Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Merangin.
Kepala Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Merangin, Dedi Darmantias, menjelaskan bahwa Gemarikan merupakan program nasional yang telah berlangsung sejak tahun 2004. Program ini secara khusus menargetkan pelajar usia dini, dengan melibatkan peran aktif ibu rumah tangga atau orang tua siswa.
"Selain menggerakkan konsumsi ikan sejak usia dini, Kami juga telah bekerja sama dengan Dapur MBG untuk membeli olahan ikan yang diproduksi oleh UMKM kita. Di sisi lain, Dinas Perikanan juga terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan produksi ikan yang selama ini masih bergantung pada pasokan dari luar daerah," ujar Dedi.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua Forikan, Lavita Syukur, menekankan pentingnya pemenuhan gizi seimbang untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Ia secara khusus mengajak seluruh anak-anak yang hadir untuk menjalankan tujuh kebiasaan anak Indonesia hebat.
"Siapa yang tahu tujuh kebiasaan anak Indonesia hebat?" tanya Lavita Syukur yang kemudian meminta tiga pelajar untuk maju menjawab.
Tiga siswa, Zaskia, Gilang, dan Noval, dengan tangkas menjawab tujuh kebiasaan tersebut.
"Bangun pagi, beribadah, olahraga, gemar belajar, makan sehat dan bergizi, bergaul dan bermasyarakat, [dan] istirahat atau tidur lebih awal," jawab mereka serentak, disambut tepuk tangan meriah.
Lavita Syukur mengapresiasi acara ini sebagai bagian dari upaya pemerintah daerah dalam pemenuhan gizi anak.
Acara Gemarikan ini dimeriahkan pula dengan penampilan tarian daerah dan seni peran monolog tentang kelestarian ikan semah di Sungai Merangin yang dibawakan oleh siswi SDN 2 Merangin, Willy Aurora.
