Bangko - Bupati Merangin, M. Syukur meluncurkan program bantuan pangan beras dan minyak secara serentak periode bulan Oktober - November 2025. Acara peluncuran digelar di Kantor Bulog Cabang Bangko, Kamis (30/10) yang dihadiri oleh Kapolres Merangin AKBP Kiki Firmansyah, Dandim 0420 Sarko yang diwakili Kasdim Mayor Usman, Asisten 1 Setda Merangin Sukoso, Camat Se-kabupaten Merangin dan perwakilan warga penerima manfaat. Program ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari arahan Bapak Presiden Prabowo berupa beras sebanyak 20 kilogram dan minyak sebanyak 4 liter untuk setiap penerima manfaat. Di Kabupaten Merangin, untuk penyaluran Periode Oktober-November tercatat ada 18.679 penerima manfaat. Jumlah ini meningkat 717 penerima manfaat jika dibandingkan dengan penyaluran Periode bulan Juni-Juli 2025. Dalam sambutannya, Bupati M. Syukur menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih kepada Bulog Cabang Bangko yang telah menyalurkan bantuan pangan kepada masyarakat. "Bantuan ini sangat luar biasa dan sangat membantu masyarakat dalam mengurangi beban pengeluaran untuk kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari. Kepada instansi terkait, Pak Kapolres, Pak Dandim untuk bersama-sama mengawal program ini agar bantuan yang disalurkan benar-benar sampai kepada penerima manfaat," ujar Bupati M. Syukur. "Harapan kita, bantuan ini tidak hanya berdampak besar bagi penerima manfaat, tetapi juga berdampak bagi para petani lokal. Karena beras Bulog ini berasal dari petani lokal yang dibeli oleh Bulog," tambahnya. Bupati M. Syukur kemudian menyerahkan secara simbolis bantuan 20 kg beras dan 4 liter minyak sayur kepada penerima manfaat sekaligus melepas keberangkatan mobil truk pengangkut bantuan hingga ke kecamatan-kecamatan di kabupaten Merangin. Kepala Bulog Cabang Bangko, Hamdani menuturkan, bantuan tersebut berasal dari cadangan pangan pemerintah. "Penyaluran ini dilakukan berdasarkan data dari aplikasi yang tahapannya tidak bisa dilewati. Data ini berasal dari Data Bappenas dan Kementerian Sosial dari data set tunggal. Jadi, penerima manfaat tidak bisa diganti. Kalau pun nanti ada warga dengan tingkat kemiskinan ekstrem yang belum mendapatkan bantuan, bisa dibantu melalui pendataan di dinas sosial agar bisa masuk dalam penyaluran bantuan lainnya," beber Hamdani.
