Batangharinews.com - Kabupaten Batang Hari kembali torehkan prestasi gemilang di panggung nasional. Kali ini, prestasi tersebut datang dari Tim Olimpiade Matematika Gasing yang berkompetisi di tingkat nasional pada 22-24 September 2025.
Dalam Olimpiade Matematika Gasing Tingkat Nasional yang digelar di Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur tersebut tim yang terdiri dari 3 orang siswi terbaik tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kabupaten Batang Hari berhasil mengamankan Juara Harapan 2, menumbangkan lawan-lawannya dari seluruh
kabupaten/kota di Indonesia.
Metode GASING adalah metode pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan oleh Prof. Yohanes Surya, singkatan dari Gampang, Asyik, dan Menyenangkan. Metode ini bertujuan agar siswa dapat menguasai konsep matematika dengan mudah, melalui pembelajaran langkah demi langkah, menggunakan benda konkret, serta kegiatan bermain dan bereksplorasi.
Adapun 3 orang siswi yang tergabung ke dalam Tim Olimpiade Matematika Gasing Kabupaten Batang Hari yang berlaga di tingkat nasional, yakni:
1. Humairah Sarah Fadhilla (SDS IT Aulia).
2. Rona Mentari Santoso (SDN 13/1 Muara Bulian).
3. Rayasya Khaira Lubna (SDN 64/1 Muara Bulian)
Dalam kesempatan tersebut pula, Humairah Sarah Fadhila meraih _Best Student of Team_ berkat kemampuan apik serta kontribusinya dalam membawa kesuksesan tim Kabupaten Batang Hari.
Prestasi ini tentunya menjadi penguat serta bukti nyata terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi serta daya saing anak-anak Kabupaten Batang Hari di panggung nasional. (IKP/Diskominfo)
