‘’Mohon maaf sebelumnya, suasana pagi ini terus terang tidak menyenangkan. Saya sudah datang di lokasi senam ini pukul 07.00 WIB, tapi satupun orang dari panitia pelaksana dan instansi yang terlibat belum terlihat sama sekali,’’ujar Bupati kecewa.
Pada pukul 07.00 WIB tersebut terang bupati, persiapan Senam Merangin Sehat sama sekali belum dilakukan. Sound system belum terpasang, lalulalang kendaraan yang lewat di lokasi senam masih ramai, karena jalan belum ditutup, ini seperti tidak ada acara.
Semestinya pinta bupati, bila undangan senam itu pukul 07.30 Wib, semua perlengkapan sudah terpasang dengan baik dan jalan sudah ditutup, sehingga tidak ada lagi kendaraan yang berlalulalang. Ini penutupan jalan atas inisiatif Polantas bukan dinas.
‘’Mohon maaf sekali lagi, bila pejabat yang terlibat pada pelaksanaan senam ini tidak mampu bekerja, lebih baik mengajukan surat pengunduran diri saja, itu lebih baik dari pada melaksanakan tugas asal-asalan,’’tegas Bupati.
Begitu juga dengan para pegawai sambung bupati, seharusnya pada pukul 07.15 Wib itu sudah berkumpul di titik lokasi acara, karena undangannya pukul 07.30 Wib. Hari ini pegawai baru datang pukul 08.00 Wib, kecuali anggota TNI dan Polri.
Bupati berharap, dibawah pimpinan Sekda yang baru, Asisten yang baru, kejadian seperti itu tidak terulang lagi, karena jelas bupati pada pelaksanaan Senam Merangin Sehat di kawasan Pasar Bawah juga mengalami kejadian yang sama.
