MERANGIN – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jadi Polwan Republik Indonesia ke-77 Tahun 2025, Polwan Polres Merangin melaksanakan kegiatan bakti sosial di sekitaran Kota Bangko, Kabupaten Merangin, pada Rabu (10/09/2025) pagi.
Kegiatan dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga selesai dengan membagikan 20 paket sembako kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan. Bantuan tersebut disalurkan kepada panti asuhan, lansia, dan para kuli angkut barang di sekitar Kota Bangko.
Seluruh personel Polwan Polres Merangin turut serta dalam kegiatan ini sebagai wujud kepedulian dan rasa empati kepada masyarakat.
Adapun tujuan kegiatan bakti sosial ini adalah untuk mempererat hubungan silaturahmi antara Polwan dengan masyarakat, menumbuhkan rasa kepedulian sosial, serta menunjukkan bahwa Polwan hadir tidak hanya dalam tugas kepolisian, tetapi juga dalam memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
Wakapolres Merangin Kompol Defita Efrina Sari, S.I.K. menyampaikan apresiasinya atas kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan oleh jajaran Polwan. “Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat karena tidak hanya memperingati Hari Jadi Polwan, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan. Semoga kegiatan seperti ini terus berlanjut dan semakin mempererat kedekatan Polri dengan masyarakat,” ungkapnya.
Diharapkan melalui kegiatan bakti sosial ini, Polwan Polres Merangin dapat semakin meningkatkan rasa kepedulian sosial, memperkuat citra positif Polri di tengah masyarakat, serta menjadi teladan dalam menebarkan semangat berbagi dan kepedulian kepada sesama.
Kegiatan bakti sosial berlangsung dengan aman, lancar, dan mendapat sambutan positif dari masyarakat penerima bantuan.
