MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batang Hari akan menyalurkan program bantuan bibit sawit secara subsidi kepada petani pada akhir tahun 2025.
Upaya ini untuk mendukung kegiatan sektor perkebunan penyediaan bibit unggul. Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Batang Hari sudah melaksanakan pembibitan dan penangkaran bibit sawit.
Seperti yang disampaikan Kepala Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan Batang Hari, Mara Mulya Pane di Muarabulian kemarin. Dia mengatakan, bahwa ribuan bibit unggul itu direncanakan akan di saluran pada akhir tahun 2025 ini.
"Insya Allah kita akan menyalurkan pada akhir tahun 2025. Saat ini bibit tersebut sedang dilakukan pembenihan," katanya.
Sebanyak 32 ribu batang bibit sawit yang disiapkan oleh pemerintah daerah melalui Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan di daerah setempat. Program bantuan tersebut merupakan bibit sawit yang di subsidi.
"Nantinya bibit sawit itu akan di bagi masyarakat dengan mempunyai syarat dan ketentuan," ujarnya.
Adapun beberapa syarat untuk mendapatkan bibit subsidi tersebut diantaranya, petani yang mengajukan harus memiliki lahan sendiri dan tidak masuk kawasan.
