MERANGIN - Upaya evakuasi dua truk pengangkut batu bara yang terguling di tanjakan jalan lintas sumatera tepatnya di jalan lintas semutera Km. 01 tepatnya di tanjakan depan Bank BNI Kel. Pematang Kandis Kec. Bangko Kab. Merangin, pada Senin malam (01/09/2025) sekira pukul 00.00 Wib, ditargetkan rampung hari ini, Selasa (02/09/2025).
Hal ini disampaikan langsung oleh Kasat Lantas Polres Merangin, AKP Iwan Wahyudi S.H.,M.H saat ditemui awak media. Menurut Iwan, anggota Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Merangin bersama pihak perusahaan yang mengalami laka telah bekerja keras untuk mengevakusi kedua kendaran truck tersebut.
”Benar, sejak malam tadi kita sudah tempatkan personil lalu lintas untuk mengatur jalan yang tertutup oleh kendaraan truck yang terguling beserta muatannya, pagi ini kita sudah menghubungi pihak perusahan yang siap membantu evakuasi kendaraan dan tumpahan batu bara tersebut agar jalan dapat digunakan kembali”, ujar Kasat Lantas.
Kasat Lantas menambahkan, bahwa evakuasi kendaraan tersebut innsha Allah selesai hari ini, karena dari pihak perusahaan saat ini sedang berusaha membantu mengevakuasi.
”Benar, saat ini pihak perusahaan sedang membantu mengevakuasi truck yang terguling dengan menggunakan 1 (satu) buah alat berat, sementara itu terkait penyebab tergulingnya dua truck pengangkut batu bara, saat ini anggota sedang melakukan olah TKP dan pemeriksaan terhadap saksi-saksi’ sebut Iwan.
Seperti diketahui bahwa pada hari Senin malam sekira pukul 00.00 Wib, telah terjadi laka lantas antara mobil mitsubishi dump truck tronton No. Pol BA 9767 QU yang dikemudikan oleh Sdr. FERY SATRIANI dengan mobil dump truck Hino No. Pol BA 8848 JU yang dikemudikan oleh Sdr. SEPTRIA YUSWITA CHANDRA di Jalinsum Km. 01 tanjakan depan Bank BNI Kel. Pematang Kandis Kec. Bangko Kab. Merangin.
Sampai berita ini duturunkan personil Sat Lantas Polres Merangin bersama pihak perusahan sedang berupaya melakukan evakuasi terhadap dua truck yang mengalami kecelakaan tersebut.
Dari keterangan yang dihimpun dilokasi kejadian, bahwa sesaat sebelum terjadi laka lantas mobil mitsubishi dump truck tronton No. Pol BA 9767 QU yang bermuatan batu bara melaju dari arah Sarolangun kearah Bangko beriringan dengan 2 unit mobil truck batu bara lain di belakangnya, saat sampai di tanjakan depan Bank BNI diduga mobil mitsubishi dump truck tronton No. Pol BA 9767 QU slip kopling dan tidak bisa mengoper gigi perseneling sehingga mobil tersebut tidak bisa menanjak dan kemudian mundur dan terguling.
Pada saat mobil tersebut mundur, mobil dump truck tronton kedua dibelakang mobil tersebut berhasil menghindar, namun nahas mobil dump truck tronton Hino No. Pol BA 8848 JU yang berada di posisi ketiga tidak bisa menghindar lagi dan bersenggolan dengah mobil yang mundur tersebut sehingga ikut terguling.
Dalam peristiwa kecelakaan tersebut tidak ada korban jiwa, namun saat kejadian dalam kondisi hujan dan jalan licin, sehingga personil lalu lintas ditempatkan di TKP guna mengatur arus lalu lintas agar aman dan lancar, mengingat lokasi kejadian merupakan jalan lintas Sumatera.
