Wabup mengucapkan terimakasih atas kehadiran para leading sektor Provinsi Jambi tersebut. Dikatakan wabup yang juga Ketua TP3S Merangin,  prevalensi Stunting di Merangin pada 2023 menurut hasil Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI), berada diangka 14,9 persen. Pada 2024 menurut data Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) adalah 9,6 persen.
‘’Ini artinya telah terjadi penurunan angka Stunting di Merangin sebesar 5,3 persen. Sedangkan untuk tahun 2025 kita harapkan angka Stunting Kabupaten Merangin bisa diturunkan kembali, sehingga target sebesar 11.5 pesen dapat tercapai,’’ujar Wabup.
TP3S lanjut H A Khafidh, menjadi komitmen bersama Pemkab Merangin dan leading sektor serta kolaborasi  masyarakat dalam menanggani permasalahan Stunting di Kabupaten Merangin.
Sampai dengan tahun 2024 jelas wabup, Pemkab Merangin telah melakukan kegiatan delapan aksi konvergensi percepatan penurunan  Stunting, dimana setiap hasil akan menjadi umpan balik bagi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program kegiatan intervensi Stunting Pemerintah Daerah untuk proses penyusunan rencana kegiatan tahun berikutnya.
 ‘’Sedangkan untuk tahun 2025, terdapat perubahan aksi konvergensi Stunting menjadi empat aksi yang sebelumnya sebanyak delapan aksi dan sekarang sedang dalam proses penginputan pada aksi Bangda Kemendagri RI.’’terang Wabup.
Diharapkan wabup,  melalui kegiatan Monev tersebut dapat  meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisien pelaksanaan program P3S di Kabupaten Merangin, walau pada 2025 ini target yang di tetapkan Provinsi Jambi untuk Merangin sebesar 11.5 namun pada 2024 telah terealisasi sebesar 9,6 persen.
‘’Kita semua berharap, semoga melalui Monev TP3S ini, bisa mendongkrak progres aksi konvergensi Stunting, mengidentifikasi tantangan dan merumuskan rekomendasi serta strategi  guna mencapai target prevalensi Stunting yang ditetapkan,’’harap Wabup.
Lebih lanjut wabup menegaskan, Pemkab Merangin berkomitmen penuh untuk terus mengakselerasi penurunan angka Stunting dan dapat bersinergi lebih kuat, bekerja lebih efektif dan bersama-sama mewujudkan generasi emas yang bebas Stunting, sehat, cerdas dan produktif. 
Hadir Staf Ahli Bupati Merangin Bidang Keuangan, Pengembangan Ekonomi dan Pembangunan Irsadi, Direktur RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko dr Irwan dan Kasinya Andi, Sekban Bappeda Ny Lidya Gusmelia, Kabid SosBud Bappeda Ny Misnawati, Jafung Perencanaan Bappeda Ny Yuyun, Ny Desi dan Ny Tassya.
Sedangkan dari Dinas PPKB Merangin hadir Plt Kabid KS Ny Meileni Sari, Jafung PPKB Ny Najmi dan Aryati serta Staf DPPKB Maniah.  Dari Dikbud hadir Kabid PAUD Ny Rika Elyuma, Fungsional Dinas PMD Indra Yunika dan Lukman.
Juga hadir, Fungsional Dinas Sosial Ansori , Camat Pamenang Barat Bambang dan utusan dari sejumlah instansi diantaranya,  Ny Elda Wati Safitri perwakilan dari Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Endro perwakilan dari Dukcapil dan Nursah dari Dinas Kesehatan.
Selanjutnya Rio Restu perwakilan dari Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura, Mujiono perwakilan dari Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Merangin, Mustamsi dari Dinas Perikanan, Rifai Arnadan perwakilan dari Kantor Camat Tabir Selatan dan peserta lainnya.
