Hal tersebut  dikatakan Bupati Merangin H M Syukur, pada sambutan acara pengukuhan ketua dan pengurus PKJM periode 2025-2030 dan perayaan Grebek Syuro 1447 H, di Pendopo PKJM jalur dua SMA Negeri 6 Merangin, Minggu (13/7).
‘’Merangin ini tanah kita bersama. Jangan pernah merasa asing di negeri ini, kita bangun Merangin ini bersama-sama, yang berada di Merangin ini adalah orang Merangin. Bahkan kita nanti dikubur di Bumi Tali Undang Tambang Teliti Merangin,’’ujar Bupati.
H M Syukur menegaskan, akan menjadi bupati yang adil untuk seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Merangin. PKJM nanti akan bersinergi dengan Pemkab Merangin. Bila PKJM mempunyai gagasan atau inovasi untuk membangun Merangin, bupati selalu terbuka.
‘’Saya sudah berkomitmen menghibahkan diri saya untuk masyarakat Merangin. Saya bersama Pak Khafidh, tidak bisa berdua saja membangun Kabupaten Merangin dengan 24 kecamatan, 205 desa ditambah 10 kelurahan,’’terang Bupati.
PKJM dibentuk lanjut bupati, untuk  membantu Pemerintah membangun Kabupaten Merangin. Artinya kalau ingin maju, keamanan, ketentraman, kebersihan dan kenyamanan harus diciptakan, sehingga Merangin Baru 2030 dapat terwujud.
Wabup Merangin H A Khafidh sebagai ketua Dewan Pembina PKJM mengucapkan terimakasih kepada bupati, yang membuka kesempatan lebar untuk warga Merangin asal Jawa. ‘’Benar, dimana bumi kami pijak, disitu pula langit kami junjung,’’ujar Wabup.
Warga Merangin asal Jawa lanjut wabup, akan bekerja sekuat tenaga berperan besama-sama membangun Kabupaten Merangin yang sama-sama dicintai, sehingga Merangin Baru segera terwujud.
Terpisah, Ketua Umum PKJM Amir Ahmad menegaskan, PKJM akan terus mendorong, membantu Pemkab Merangin, agar masyarakatnya menuju masyarakat yang sejahtera.
‘’Mereka yang kami pilih sebagai pengurus PKJM ini adalah mereka yang masih muda, yang tentunya mempunyai etos kerja tinggi yang juga siap berperan di Pemerintahan untuk membangun Merangin,’’terang Amir Ahmad.
