SAROLANGUN, 9 Juli 2025 – Dalam upaya mencegah terjadinya kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla), Babinsa Koramil 420-03/Pauh Kodim 0420/Sarko, Koptu Nadi Sutra, bersama Bhabinkamtibmas setempat melaksanakan kegiatan patroli terpadu sekaligus sosialisasi di wilayah Desa Taman Bandung, Kecamatan Pauh, Kabupaten Sarolangun.
Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari rutinitas Babinsa dalam mengantisipasi musim kemarau yang rawan memicu Karhutla, khususnya di daerah yang memiliki potensi titik api. Patroli dilakukan menyisir lokasi-lokasi yang dianggap rawan dan pernah mengalami kebakaran di tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
“Setiap patroli, kami tidak hanya mengecek lokasi rawan, tetapi juga menyampaikan imbauan langsung kepada warga agar tidak membuka lahan dengan cara dibakar. Apalagi jika kemudian ditinggalkan dalam keadaan api masih menyala. Itu sangat berbahaya,” tegas Koptu Nadi Sutra di sela kegiatan.
Dalam sosialisasi, warga diajak untuk lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan dan aktif melaporkan jika menemukan indikasi terjadinya pembakaran liar. Partisipasi masyarakat menjadi kunci penting dalam menjaga wilayah tetap aman dari ancaman Karhutla.
“Ini bukan hanya tugas TNI atau Polri saja, tapi tanggung jawab kita bersama. Dengan kerjasama yang baik, kita bisa mewujudkan desa yang bebas dari kebakaran hutan dan lahan,” pungkas Babinsa.
Kegiatan ini disambut baik oleh warga, yang merasa terbantu dengan adanya informasi dan edukasi langsung dari aparat keamanan. Diharapkan, kegiatan serupa terus digalakkan terutama menjelang puncak musim kemarau.
