Jakarta - Bupati Batang Hari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, SE bersama Bupati/Wali kota se-Provinsi Jambi dampingi Gubernur Jambi Dr. H.Al Haris, S.Sos, MH menemui Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Republik Indonesia, Abdul Mu'ti, di Jakarta, Kamis (03/07/2025).
Hal ini tidak lain guna meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan di Jambi.
Kepada Mendikdasmen, Gubernur Jambi menyampaikan beberapa hal terkait upaya Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jambi dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan di Provinsi Jambi.
Dirinya pun menyampaikan alasan turut serta membawa Bupati/Wali Kota saat audiensi tersebut. "Bupati Wali Kota kewenangannya ada di PAUD, TK, SD, SMP. Kami Pemprov SMA, SMK, SLB. Sehingga nanti kalau kita berkolaborasi dengan Bupati/Wali Kota, kita ingin menangani secara komprehensif pendidikan di Provinsi Jambi," ujar Gubernur Al Haris.
"Sehingga ada perubahan yang meningkat, mulai dari peningkatan mutu sekolah, demikian juga angka harapan sekolah dan lainnya," lanjutnya.
"Sehingga Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) kita juga meningkat dan juga masalah guru, SDM. Semua ada hubungannya," imbuh Gubernur.
Ditambahkannya, dengan penyampaian langsung kepada menteri terkait beberapa hal penting menyangkut pendidikan, diharapkan bisa mengakselerasi peningkatan pendidikan.
