MERANGIN - Jajaran Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri), hari ini berulang tahun ke-79 tahun dan melaksanakan upacara secara serentak diseluruh Indonesia. Menyambut hari jadinya yang Ke 79 Polres Merangin menggelar peringatan Hari Bhayangkara di lapangan apel pada Selasa (01/7/25).
Dalam upacara itu, Forkopimda dan para pejabat TNI di Merangin serta Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Masyarakat dan berbagai perwakilan Ormas turut hadir memeriahkan peringatan Hari Bhayangkara.
Bertindak sebagai Irup dalam upacara yakni Kapolres Merangin AKBP Roni Syahendra,S.H.,S.I.K.,M.Si yang juga merupakan putra asli Merangin. Sedangkan sebagai Komandan upacara adalah Kapolsek Sungai Manau IPTU Romi Habibi,SH serta diikuti peserta upacara dari Satuan TNI/Polri, Brimob, Dishub, Satpol PP, dan berbagai macam Organisasi Masyarakat.
Dalam sambutannya Kapolres menekankan kepada seluruh anggota Polres Merangin untuk lebih profesional dan humanis dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, karena pokok dari pengabdian Polri adalah melayani masyarakat dengan baik sesuai dengan tema hari Bhayangkara kali ini Polri Untuk Masyarakat.
“Polri harus hadir melayani rakyat dengan sikap humanis, respons cepat, dan adil dalam penegakan hukum, hindari perbuatan yang melanggar hukum dan bagi anggota yang melanggar akan ditindak tegas. Polri juga harus terbuka terhadap kritik untuk terus berbenah, perkuat sinergi dengan TNI, pemerintah, dan masyarakat demi menjaga stabilitas nasional, Kembalikan nilai Tribrata sebagai pedoman moral dan semangat pengabdian serta wujudkan Polri yang dipercaya dan dicintai masyarakat, melalui aksi nyata, bukan hanya janji”, sebut Kapolres.
Setelah upacara selesai, kemudian kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan acara Tasyakuran di Aula Wira Satya Polres Merangin yang diikuti seluruh tamu undangan dan acara ditutup dengan Do’a dan ramah tamah.
