JAKARTA- Direktorat Antikorupsi Badan Usaha (AKBU) Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) melakukan kunjungan kerja ke kantor pusat Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) Jl Veteran II – Jakarta Pusat, Selasa pagi (27/5). Kunjungan sejak pukul 08.30 sampai dengan pukul 11.00 tersebut, selain untuk bersilaturahmi, juga audensi dengan jajaran Pimpinan SMSI Pusat.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, baik KPK maupun SMSI sepakat untuk kerja sama strategis dalam upaya pencegahan korupsi di sektor usaha, khususnya media massa/media siber yang ada di Indonesia.
Rombongan Direktorat Antikorupsi Badan Usaha (AKBU) Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dipimpin langsung oleh Kepala Satgas II, Roro Wide Sulistyowati didampingi tiga orang jajarannya, yakni Angga Hardimasta, Zul Bahari, dan Wahyu Firmasnsyah.
Dari pihak SMSI Pusat, audensi itu diterima langsung oleh Ketua Umum Firdaus bersama Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) H. Makali Kumar, SH, dan tim humas Nasky dan Benny Hasibuan.
Dalam kunjungan kerja itu, Roro Wide memaparkan tugas dan fungsi Dit AKBU, serta menjelaskan alasan pembentukan direktorat ini, untuk membangun budaya antikorupsi di lingkungan dunia usaha, termasuk di lingkungan pers. “Direktorat ini dibentuk sebagai langkah strategis untuk memberikan edukasi dan membangun budaya antikorupsi di lingkungan dunia usaha. Termasuk dunia usaha di lingkungan pers yang ada di Indonesia. Kami ingin mendapatkan informasi dan masukan dari SMSI dalam mencegah korupsi dan membangun budaya antikorupsi, ” ujar Roro Wide,
Perempuan asal Jawa Barat ini selanjutnya menjelaskan tentang upaya KPK dalam melakukan pencegahan dan membangun budaya antikorupsi sejak dini di lingkungan dunia usaha. Baik dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksaaan program. Sehingga dalam dunia usaha di lingkungan pers ini, pihaknya mengharapkan masukan-masukan trategis dari organisasi pers, seperti SMSI, untuk dijadikan bahan pertimbangan KPK dalam mengambil keputusan dan langkah strategis. Dari mulai pembuatan badah hukum perusahaan penerbitan media siber, melaksanakan usaha dalam industry pers yang bersumber dari anggaran pemerintah, maupun lainnya.
Sementara itu, Ketum SMSI Firdaus menyambut antusias kedatangan tim dari KPK tersebut. Dia memaparkan secara makro tentang sejarah pers, industri pers maupun perkembangan pers dewasa ini yang sedang tidak baik-baik saja. Karena masyarakat kebanjiran berita dari medsos (media sosial) dan media digital lainnya, termasuk platform-platform asing.
“SMSI yang terbentuk pada tahun 2017 dan kini sudah beranggota mencapai 2700 perusahaan media siber di Indonesia, terus berusaha bertahan dalam industry pers. Sebagai organisasi perusahaan pers yang jumlah anggotanya terbesar di Indonesia, bahkan dunia, SMSI bertekad untuk terus bersinergi dengan semua pihak, termasuk KPK dalam mencegah korupsi dan membangun budaya antikorupsi,” jelas Firdaus.
Untuk melalukan upaya pencegahan Korupsi dan membangun budaya antikorupsi di lingkungan industry pers, SMSI siap bekerjasama dengan KPK melakukan edukasi ke seluruh anggota SMSI di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, baik lewat workshop, seminar, pelatihan maupun lainnya. Termasuk juga, ikut melakukan monitoring dalam pelaksanaan program-program usaha pers yang bersumber dari dana pemerintah, baik pemerintah pusat maupun daerah. Baik itu program publikasi maupun hibah untuk peningkatan SDM insan pers, lewat Uji Kopentensi Wartawan (UKW) melalui Dewan Pers, Hari Pers Nasional (HPN) maupun lainnya.
“Kami berharap audiensi ini menjadi awal dari kemitraan yang bermanfaat dalam menciptakan ekosistem usaha yang bersih dan berintegritas, antara KPK dan SMSI. Khususnya dalam usaha di lingkungan Pers di Indonesia,” harap Firdaus yang mengenakan baju batik warna coklat muda ini.
