”Kita sudah instruksikan kepada para kapolsek jajaran untuk melakukan komunikasi, koordinasi dan kolaborasi dengan pihak sekolah untuk mengingatkan kepada para pelajar untuk merayakan kelulusan dengan cara yang baik tanpa mengganggu ketertiban masyarakat, disini saya juga meminta kepada seluruh orang tua murid untuk bersama-sama mengawasi anak-anaknya pasca pengumuman kelulusan," ujar Kapolres, Rabu (07/5/2025).
Selain itu Kapolres juga telah memerintahkan jajarannya untuk memantau dan mengawasi warung, kafe atau tempat-tempat nongkrong anak muda agar tidak disalahgunakan untuk hal-hal negatif seperti melakukan pesta minuman keras (miras) atau obat-obat terlarang maupun kegiatan yang melanggar hukum pada saat merayakan kelulusan.
Sementara itu Kasubsi Penmas AIPTU Ruly kepada awak media mengatakan, bahwa  Polres Merangin berharap kepada para pelajar agar tidak menggelar konvoi dengan kendaraan bermotor, terlebih menggunakan knalpot Brong di jalan raya yang dapat mengganggu ketertiban masyarakat, yang dikhawatirkan akan menimbulkan kecelakaan maupun gesekan dengan kelompok lain.
"Jangan sampai dari kumpul-kumpul di tempat nongkrong, timbul ide negatif yang berakibat gangguan kamtibmas. Oleh karena itu Polsek jajaran akan tetap mengawasi dan melaksanakan giat patroli pasca pengumuman kelulusan. Untuk adik-adik yang telah lulus, kami berharap untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan positive guna menata masa depan yang lebih baik," sebut Ruly.
