MUARABULIAN - Rapat Koordinasi antara Anggota BPD se-kabupaten Batanghari dan Pemerintah Daerah dalam rangka menyongsong Batanghari Super Tangguh tahun 2025 digelar di serambi rumah dinas Bupati Batanghari, Senin (5/5/2025).
Rapat koordinasi ini dibuka langsung oleh Bupati Batanghari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, SE.
Hadir Pj Sekda Batanghari, Mula P Rambe beserta Asisten I, II dan III Setda Batanghari, para Kepala OPD, Kabag, Camat dan Anggota BPD se-kabupaten Batanghari dan undangan lainnya.
Bupati Batanghari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief dalam sambutannya mengatakan, sebagai perwujudan demokrasi dalam penyelenggaraan fungsi pemerintahan desa, BPD memiliki kedudukan yang penting dalam sistem pemerintahan desa. BPD sebagai mitra kepala desa, diperlukan untuk membahas rancangan peraturan desa bersama kepala desa, serta melakukan pengawasan terhadap penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa.
Disamping itu, kehadiran BPD dapat juga dikatakan sebagai bentuk perwujudan demokrasi desa yang lebih baik. Untuk itu, saya harap dalam melaksanakan tugas kedepan harus proporsional dan profesional dengan mengedepankan kepentingan desa daripada kepentingan pribadi dengan tetap menjaga keharmonisan, membangun komunikasi yang baik dan selalu bersinergi terhadap semua elemen pemerintahan desa untuk mewujudkan pemerintahan desa yang maju," kata Bupati.
Selanjutnya, Bupati juga berharap para anggota BPD untuk senantiasa berpedoman pada tupoksi BPD dalam menjalankan pengawasan program kegiatan pembangunan dan kemasyarakatan di wilayah masing - masing.
Selain itu, Bupati juga berharap semua anggota BPD dapat mengawal dan mengawasi semua kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan di desa. Diharapkan pulasemua memfungsikan diri sesuai dengan bidang masing-masing.
"Sebelum turun bersama, diharapkan BPD menguasai bidangnya masing-masing," tegasnya.
Lebih lanjut dikatakannya, rapat koordinasi ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa sinergi antara lembaga pemerintahan dan masyarakat sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai kemajuan desa. Dengan evaluasi menyeluruh atas kinerja perangkat desa dan penyerapan aspirasi masyarakat, diharapkan kebijakan yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan mendorong kemajuan pembangunan di desa," ujarnya.
Keterlibatan aktif dari berbagai unsur dalam rapat ini mencerminkan tekad bersama dalam membangun tata kelola pemerintahan yang transparan dan responsif terhadap dinamika kebutuhan masyarakat," pungkasnya.
