Antara MBC dan MJC Menyatu di Tugu Pedang Bangko

Bangko-Pagi itu, udara segar membalut suasana taman kota. Komunitas sepeda ‘Merangin Bike Community (MBC)’ baru saja mulai star dari target rute 20 kilometer, mereka berhenti tidak jauh dari rindangnya pohon pelindung kota.
Tak lama berselang beberapa waktu, datang pula komunitas jogging ‘Merangin Jogging Club (MJC)’ dengan nafas masih teratur dan senyum di wajah mereka, setelah setengah jalan sesi lari pagi sepanjang delapan kilometer.
Kedua komunitas itu bertemu di central point titik tengah pusat kota Tugu Pedang Bangko, tempat biasa melepas lelah yang kini terlihat lebih nyaman. Tawa, cerita dan obrolan menarik pun jadi pengikat suasana.
Meski berbeda roda dan langkah, semangat sehat dan kebersamaan menjembatani mereka. Pertemuan itu sepertinya bakal menjadi rutinitas baru setiap akhir pekan, bagi kedua komunitas olahraga tersebut.
‘’Alhamdulillah kita bisa bertemu di titik yang sama. Tetap semangat, pertemuan ini bukan hanya untuk olahraga, tapi juga untuk menjalin persahabatan dan silaturahmi,’’ ujar Wabup H A Khafid Moein yang juga sebagai Pembina MBC.
Hal senada disampaikan M Arief ketua MJC. “Semoga pertemuan ini bisa rutin dilakukan. Selain sehat, kita juga bisa mempererat hubungan silaturahmi,’’ ujar Kadis Kominfo Merangin ini.
Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi inspirasi bagi komunitas lainnya di Kota Bangko, untuk terus menjalin sinergi, menjaga kesehatan dan mempererat tali persaudaraan dalam suasana yang positif dan menyenangkan.
Dua komunitas MBC dan MJC sebelumnya memulai aktivitasnya dari titik yang berbeda. Komunitas sepeda melakukan gowes santai mengelilingi pinggiran Kota Bangko sejak pukul 07.00 WIB, sedangkan komunitas jogging mengisi pagi dengan jalan bersama di rute dalam Kota Bangko.
Setelah juga sempat berfoto bersama, kedua komunitas itu meneruskan track olahraganya masing-masing, guna membentuk tubuh yang sehat. Sebab dalam tubuh yang sehat terdapat jiwa yang kuat.
Sementara itu minggu sebelunya juga dilakukan Bupati Merangin H M Syukur, Goes Bareng bersama dua komunitas sepeda bersama wabup. Sepertinya semangat berolahraga semakin dirasakan seiring berubahnya Kota Bangko sebagai Kota Wisata dengan seribu taman.
